The Deltabar PMD55 differential pressure transmitter with piezoresistive sensor and welded metallic membrane is typically used in process or environmental industries for continuous measurement of pressure differences in liquids, vapours, gases and dusts. Easy process adaptation to impulse line high-pressure/low-pressure change via electric switch on the main electronics. Designed according to IEC 61508 for use in SIL2 safety applications.

Field of application

For level, volume or mass measurement in liquids, differential pressure monitoring, e.g. of filters and pumps as well as flow measurement (volume or mass flow) in conjunction with primary elements in gases, vapors and liquids.

  • Process connections: ¼" - 18 NPT

  • Temperature: -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)

  • Measuring ranges: 0.5 mbar to 40bar (0.0072 to 600psi)

  • Accuracy: ±0.1%, "Plantinum" ±0.075% (optional)

  • ATEX, FM, CSA, NEPSI, TIIS, IEC Ex, GL, ABS, SIL2
